The dental veneers process takes two appointments to complete. During the first, we’ll need to prepare your teeth by trimming the outer enamel by about 0.5mm. Once your teeth are the right size, our cosmetic dentists will create an impression of your teeth, which we will send to a lab for your porcelain veneers to be made. It takes about a week or two for them to be ready, so we’ll outfit you with temporary veneers in the meantime.
You’ll come in for your second appointment once your permanent veneers are made. During this visit, we’ll switch your temporary veneers out, thoroughly cleaning your teeth below and lightly using a grinding tool to make your enamel rougher.
